The Bath House Cultural Center presents Outside the Lines 7, a juried art exhibition, June 2-30, 2007. This exhibition features 19 local and regional artists and presents works in different media, including painting, sculpture, photography, etchings, installation art and mixed media. The artwork contained in this exhibition was selected by a panel of jurors made up by Sue Flynn, Ryan Fitzer and Viola Delgado.
Outside the Lines was created to discover and celebrate the transcendent, innovative and experimental work of local and regional visual artists. Since its inception in 2000, this exhibition has gained a reputation for being a vital catalyst of active contemporary artists to showcase their inventive artworks in Dallas.

The Jurors:
Sue Flynn is the Director of the Norwood Flynn Gallery. Ms. Flynn’s gallery features works ranging in style from classical realism to outsider art by regional artists. The mission of the fine art gallery is to provide a venue for emerging and mid career artists and to provide a venue for the exchange of creative ideas. The purpose of the space is to show quality work by serious artists committed to growth and exploration through their work.

Ryan Fitzer is the Director of the exhibition spaces at Mountain View College, including the Kiva Gallery and the Treetop Gallery. Mr. Fitzer is also an active visual artist who explores a variety of media and techniques that incorporate installation art, sculpture and multimedia.

Viola Delgado is an Adjunct Curator for the Latino Cultural Center, an art facility of the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs. Ms. Delgado has an extensive curatorial experience, which includes projects for the Latino Cultural Center, the Ice House Cultural Center, the Bath House Cultural Center and the City of Dallas Public Art Department. Ms. Delgado is also an artist who has exhibited her works in multiple art spaces in Texas.
