The Bath House Cultural Center presents Outside the Lines 3, a juried art exhibition featuring new works by local and regional artists.

OUTSIDE THE LINES 3 is presented in connection with the Bath House Cultural Center's Fifth Annual FESTIVAL OF INDEPENDENT THEATRES (FIT). Both, the art exhibition and FIT celebrate the transcendent, innovative and experimental work of visual and performing artists.

 

 

ABOUT THE JURORS:

PAUL ROGERS HARRIS
Independent Curator / Consultant /
Visual Artist

Education: Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Art, North Texas State College (now University of North Texas); New York University, Art Education Department.

Art Instructor at the Dallas Museum of Contemporary Arts; Director of the Art Education Department at Southern Methodist University; Director of the Waco Art Center.


MARIA TERESA GARCIA PEDROCHE
Head of Family Programs and Community Outreach, Dallas Museum of Art / Curator / Visual Artist

Education: BFA, Southwest Texas State University, San Marcos, TX; MFA, Texas Women's University, Denton, TX.


Maria Teresa manages family programs in the DMA's Gateway Gallery family education area, which includes studios for art projects, interactive displays designed to acquaint children with objects in the Museum's collection, and the FINA Foundation Gallery, a site for family-related installations. She also oversees the Museum's outreach services.

Before the working at the DMA, Ms. García Pedroche was an Associate Curator at the Meadows Museum of Art.
