The Bath House Cultural Center presents Outside the Lines 3, a juried art exhibition featuring new works by local and regional artists.

OUTSIDE THE LINES 3 is presented in connection with the Bath House Cultural Center's Fifth Annual FESTIVAL OF INDEPENDENT THEATRES (FIT). Both, the art exhibition and FIT celebrate the transcendent, innovative and experimental work of visual and performing artists.

ENTRY FORM

Artists are invited to enter works of any media to this juried show. Artwork is not limited by a particular theme, style or subject matter.
This year, Outside the Lines 3 will be juried by a panel of three jurors that includes Paul Rogers Harris, María Teresa García Pedroche and Kathleen Dello Stritto.

ELIGIBILITY
Art in all media will be accepted in this exhibit. Only work completed within the last three years will be considered. Artwork should be ready for installation at the time of delivery. No artwork shall be removed from the exhibition before the closing date. Complex installations should be coordinated and supervised by the Visual Arts Coordinator.

ENTRIES/SLIDES
Please fill out the ENTRY FORM and return it with your slides to the Bath House Cultural Center (see schedule). An entry fee of $15 will be paid to the BATH HOUSE CULTURAL CENTER ADVISORY COUNCIL (up to two entries per artist). Glass-mounted slides will not be accepted. Please do not submit original slides. The Bath House Cultural Center will not be responsible for damaged slides.


Please label your slides with the following information:
Artist name, title of artwork, medium, size and year (please mark the top of your slides with an arrow).
The Bath House will not return slides unless the artist includes a self addressed stamped envelope with his/her entries.

EXHIBIT SCHEDULE
Deadline for submission of entries/slides:
Postmarked by June 14, 2003
Delivery of accepted artwork to BHCC:
Saturday, June 28 (2 PM to 6 PM)
Exhibit opens:
July 5
Exhibit reception:
Saturday, July 5- (5 PM to 7 PM)
Exhibit closes:
August 2
Artwork pick up:
Sunday, August 3- (2 PM to -4 PM)

INSURANCE
The City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs does not provide insurance for this exhibition. By signing the entry form, the artist releases the City of Dallas, its officers, agents and employees from any liability for loss or damage to the artwork. Artists have the option to purchase their own insurance separately. While on exhibition, the artwork will be given all reasonable care.


Shipping/delivery of artwork to and from the Bath House is the responsibility of the artist.


SALES
Transactions for the purchase of artwork shall be directly between the purchaser and the artist or his/her agent. The Bath House Cultural Center Advisory Council requests a 14% commission on all art sold during the exhibition.
