BOOTSTRAPS
COMEDY THEATER

Is it a sport? Or is it
a demeaning spectacle?
Dwarf Tossing skewers social hypocrisy and asks the
question, whose body is it anyway? This
satirical dark comedy examines showbusiness, sexual
politics, the incorrectness of political correctness,
and the damage such madness can inflict when unleashed
on an unsuspecting little person. World Premiere.
Far Away

THEATRE
QUORUM
Cats have sided with dentists
and the French. Mallards have joined forces with the

portrays a tenuous human existence that with each
passing year, seems less and less far away. Southwest
Regional Premiere.

CORE PERFORMANCE MANUFACTORY
So much gone, that
what was left hardly looked like a place a person
could call home. There was a point when even I thought
things couldnt get any worse. Then it did get
worse. Again and again. But after a while, there was
nothing left that could surprise us, and that was
the beauty of it all. Molly, Holy Days.
King Ubu
Adaptation by Steven Walters and Allison Tolman. Directed
by Kelly Russell.
SECOND
THOUGHT THEATRE
The story of King Ubu draws
its inspiration from Shakespeares Macbeth and
tells the tale of a heinous man called Ubu, and his
equally unsavory wife, who wants to claim the crown
of Poland for his own. This hilarious satire is full
of ridiculous and illogical incident, vulgarity, violence,
and a fabricated science of imaginary solutions.
World Premiere.
Night Train
to Bolina
By Nilo Cruz. Directed by Ed Cisneros.
CARA
MIA THEATER COMPANY
The innocent victims of
abuse, hunger and war, Mateo and Clara, two peasant
children and the best of friends, escape from their
miserable surroundings and flee to the only peaceful
place they know to exist Bolina, the place

and each other along the way, their fantastical journey
unfolds in the beautifully poetic language of playwright
Nilo Cruz.
Rupert's Birthday
