The Bath House Cultural Center presents
7th Annual
FESTIVAL OF INDEPENDENT THEATRES
(FIT)

JULY 14-AUGUST 6, 2005

FIT THEATRE INTO YOUR SUMMER!

A group of local theater companies will descend on the Bath House Cultural Center again this July for the Seventh Annual Festival of Independent Theatres.

FIT was created in 1999 as an outlet for smaller companies without a permanent performance space to give them an opportunity to produce seldom seen, new, or avant-garde works. FIT exists to promote awareness and growth of Dallas area theatre through collaboration, participation and cultivation.

FIT is an opportunity for directors and actors to experiment; for design and technical staff to be challenged with constraints; for local writers to be showcased in premiere productions; and for audiences to experience an abundant mix of performances.

The productions perform in a rotating repertory during the four weeks of the festival.
