Recognized as one of this country's "cultural treasures," San Antonio's Grammy-nominated "Chief" of the accordion weaves a wonderful collection of corridos, Tex-Mex polkas, redovas and boleros.

A spiritual and musical journey-- expressed through poetry and song -- featuring a fusion of traditional Tejano music with indigenous rhythms, salsa, rockabilly and reggae-cajun-zydeco. Música del Movimiento Chicano!

A collection of short Latino films, featuring "El Chiclero" by Javier Sánchez. Co-Sponsored by the Video Association of Dallas. In Spanish and English. Following the films, there will be a talk-back with Mr. Sánchez and artists Amalia Elmasri and Ray Navarro.
